Our Story
A Flower Affair was established in 2019 and current owners Ali and Ebi decided after years of working at Melbourne’s iconic flower markets that creating their own business was a “Path they needed to follow”.
Purchasing the business in 2021, following their move from Iran in 2013. Travelling by boat with one bag in hand and starting with nothing they have invested not just money but considerable time, effort and imagination to turn A Flower Affair into the wonderful shop it is today.
A Flower Affair is inherently chic and elegant. We present you with a high class, aesthetic creative space in which we strive to be environmentally conscious and sustainable.
We do this by recycling, reusing paper and vases, repurposing furniture for our shops, providing choice to include paper and wrapping and supporting many local small businesses.
We are known for our friendly, hardworking and professional staff members who pride themselves on inclusivity. We have formed a connection with our community and customers and will continue to do so.
